Civil Technical Office Manager (Infrastructure - Structure - Bridges)

• Lead the Egypt Overseas Technical Office operations, including all technical and

drafting teams.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for UAE project teams, coordinating

technical instructions and deliverables.

• Monitor project-specific schedules and priorities, ensuring timely and accurate

drawing production.

• Supervise complex technical issues across Structural & Bridge and Utilities &

Roads teams.

• Approve major drawing outputs, ensure compliance with UAE and international

standards.

• Establish team structure, roles, and responsibilities.
• Mentor and develop mid- and junior-level engineers to enhance technical

capability.

• Implement office-wide drafting standards, workflows, and review procedures.

Ensure all drawings and technical documents meet required quality and accuracy

standards.

Job Special Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering.
• Experience:- Minimum 12–18 years of professional experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.- Strong track record of managing engineering or technical drafting teams, preferably in overseas projects or Middle East region.
• Technical Skills:- Deep understanding of structural engineering, bridge, underground works, and utilities design.- Familiarity with international and UAE codes and standards (Eurocode, BS, AASHTO, DM, RTA, DEWA).
• Software Proficiency:Skilled in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and project management software.
• Management Competencies:- Proven leadership, team building, and mentoring skills. Strong communication and coordination abilities in English (written and spoken).- Ability to handle multi-disciplinary technical issues and prioritize tasks under tight schedules.
