There is no single CV template that works for every job in Egypt. A private technology employer, a public competition and an international organisation may ask for different forms. The official ITIDA careers page shows how specific a vacancy can be about qualifications and deadlines; Egypt's government portal uses its own application process. Build a clear master CV, then adapt it to the advert.

Where to start

Place your name, city, telephone number and professional email at the top. Write a short profile that says what work you can do and backs it with evidence. For example, an applicant to an accounts role might mention reconciliations, invoice volume and the accounting software used. Avoid broad claims such as “excellent communication skills” without an example.

List recent experience first: employer, role, dates and two or three results. If you are a student or recent graduate, lead with education, projects and training that match the role. Keep a separate section for languages and software, stating the level you can actually demonstrate. If an employer asks for Arabic documents, English documents or certificates, follow the advert; do not assume the same package fits every company.

Use simple headings and consistent dates so a recruiter can understand the document quickly. Save a PDF with a useful filename, unless the portal asks for another file type. Check telephone digits and links. A CV should not expose identity numbers or other sensitive information in a file you post publicly; provide required documents through the verified route.

For UN positions, the official application guide explains the online form. Your CV can help you prepare accurate work-history answers, but it does not replace the form. The best CV is the one that lets the employer verify how you meet this particular job's requirements.
