Customer service is one of the bigger fields in our catalogue, with 176 of 2,320 adverts on 1 November 2026, and 104 adverts name the C1 English level. So the call centre set treats your first answer as a language test, because that's what it is. Say it aloud, in full sentences, and stop at one minute. Saying it out loud is what helps. Reading the answers doesn't.
What happens in a call centre interview in Egypt?
Adverts in our catalogue often ask for a C1 English level, or for a language such as French, German or Spanish, and many say graduates only. Expect a phone or online language check before anything else. Then come questions on an angry customer, on targets and on shifts.
What about papers?
Have your ID, your graduation certificate, and your military status certificate if you're a man, ready for when you get the offer. You may be asked about them in the interview. You don't need to hand over originals to get an interview. If you leave any with the firm, ask for a receipt.
What should I ask them?
Good questions are the ones whose answers change your decision.
- Is the figure gross or net, and how much of it depends on KPIs?
- Will my full salary be on my social insurance record?
- How long is the probation? The law allows at most 3 months.
- What does the medical cover include, and does the bus reach my area?
Questions people ask
What do I say when they ask my expected salary?
Give a figure and say whether it's gross or net. Work it out first with our salary to ask for tool. We can't give you a typical salary, because very few adverts state one.
Is my voice recorded?
No. The tool only shows questions and a timer. You speak to the room.
Should I pay for an interview or a test?
No. If someone asks for money to interview you, stop and run our job scam check.
